All work is to be typed and in color. All work is expected to be in final form and of the highest quality. Work will be submitted to several teachers for evaluation. All teachers evaluations will be averaged and replace the lowest test grade.

- Write a ½ page summary on an article involving science. Include the article.
- Research a scientist and tell how their contributions have shaped our world today. At least 2 pages long.
- Make a unique science game and demonstrate it to the class.
- Create a crossword puzzle of 8th grade science vocabulary. 10 up 10 down. Not to be created on line.
- Create a detailed timeline of major science developments. Must include at least 5 developments.
- Write a poem about a science topic and read it to the class.
- Write a song about a science topic and sing it in front of the class.
- Write a 2-3 page paper discussing what society would be like without the development of certain scientific concept.
- Create a children’s book about a science topic and read it to the class.
- Build a model of DNA, the solar system, or any body system and present it to the class.
